Core specialty
Your body kept a record your memory never agreed to.
Trauma is not only what happened. It is what your nervous system decided to do about it afterward, and how long it has been doing it since. Erin's mission is to help people resolve trauma and childhood attachment injuries and bring their strengths to the table on a daily basis — which means the work is not only about the wound, it is about what you have already built around it.
01Trauma & PTSD
Attachment injuries count
Not every trauma has a headline. Growing up managing a parent's mood, being the responsible child, being loved conditionally, being left — these leave a real imprint on how safe you expect other people to be. Naming that as an injury rather than a personality flaw is often the first thing that shifts.
02Trauma & PTSD
Safety before excavation
Erin does not push you into the worst thing on day one. The first sessions establish the relationship and the resources: what steadies you, what you already do well, what you will do when a session stirs something up. That footing is what makes the deeper work survivable.
03Trauma & PTSD
Then the processing
When you are ready, the options include Accelerated Resolution Therapy, EMDR, CBT for the beliefs the trauma installed, and mindfulness for the moments when the past arrives in a present-tense body. You will always know what you are being offered and why.
Signs this is the right page
- Startling more than you used to
- Sleep that will not stay
- Avoiding places, people or conversations
- Feeling far away from your own life
None of this is a diagnosis, and no outcome is guaranteed. It is a starting point for a conversation.
In Erin's words
What she would say if you called today.
Trauma work with me is paced. We build the relationship and the footing first, and we do not open anything you do not have a way to close. When you are ready, I have ART and EMDR available, and we choose together.
