Certified approach
The memory can lose its charge faster than you have been told.
Accelerated Resolution Therapy is an eye-movement approach in the same family as EMDR. You follow Erin's hand with your eyes while you bring a distressing memory to mind, and the protocol works with the images your brain has stored rather than the story you have told about them. Many people find that a memory which used to flood them becomes something they can hold. Some experience that in as little as one session. Others need several, and that is an ordinary outcome too.
01Accelerated Resolution Therapy
What a session actually looks like
An ART session runs about 100 minutes, longer than a standard hour, because the protocol needs room to complete. You stay awake and in control throughout. You are never required to say the details out loud — ART works with what you see internally, so you can process something you have never been able to narrate. Erin guides the eye movements, checks in constantly, and stops when you say stop.
02Accelerated Resolution Therapy
What it is good for
Single-incident trauma, motor vehicle accidents, assault, medical events, line-of-duty exposure, grief that keeps replaying one image, and childhood memories that still arrive with the same physical charge they had at the time. It is often paired with ongoing talk therapy rather than replacing it.

What we will not tell you
We will not tell you it is a guaranteed one-session cure. That claim gets made about ART online and it is not one an ethical clinician can make. What Erin can say is that the approach is designed to work quickly, that she is certified in it, and that you will know early whether it is doing something for you.
Signs this is the right page
- One memory intrudes more than the rest
- You freeze or flood when something reminds you of it
- You have talked about it for years and it has not moved
- You would rather not narrate the details out loud
None of this is a diagnosis, and no outcome is guaranteed. It is a starting point for a conversation.
In Erin's words
What she would say if you called today.
If you have carried one memory for years, ART may be the fastest honest route we have. I am certified in it, and I will never promise you a fixed number of sessions — but I will tell you plainly after the first one what I am seeing.
